Scattering Computations

The computational studies support the same scattering questions as the analytic chapters. A reproducible result must state the potential, grid or basis, boundary treatment, normalization, and convergence evidence. Compare numerical observables with a controlled analytic limit before interpreting a discrepancy as new physics.

Helpful background. Use the Computational Quantum Mechanics volume for transferable numerical methods and error analysis.

Use Scattering Theory to choose another chapter. General perturbative, variational, and semiclassical strategies are collected in Approximation and Semiclassical Methods.
