Glossary

The glossary gives compact definitions and canonical-home links. It is for lookup, not for full exposition. When a concept needs derivation, examples, or interpretive care, the glossary entry points to the relevant teaching page.

For a Core Formalism-local map of the most common terms, see Glossary for Core Formalism.

Each mature glossary entry should include:

  • one-sentence definition;
  • canonical home;
  • compact formula or symbol hook, when useful;
  • common aliases;
  • common confusions;
  • related entries;
