Table Corrections
Table corrections record changes to lookup tables: constants, units, matrices, commutators, Fourier transforms, angular momentum coefficients, special functions, Hamiltonians, gates, and character tables.
No public table correction entries have been recorded yet for the current draft build.
What Belongs Here
Section titled “What Belongs Here”Record table corrections for:
- wrong matrix entries,
- wrong signs or phases,
- wrong units or dimensions,
- stale constants,
- mislabeled rows or columns,
- broken source links,
- generated table mismatches,
- ambiguity that can change a calculation.
Typographic cleanup does not need a table correction unless it changes interpretation.
Entry Format
Section titled “Entry Format”| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| ID | stable correction identifier |
| table page | affected table |
| row or entry | affected item |
| issue type | sign, factor, unit, source, label, generated output, or metadata |
| correction | corrected value or statement |
| source checked | source or canonical page |
| status | confirmed, fixed, superseded, or wontfix |
| date fixed | date |
Review Checklist
Section titled “Review Checklist”Before marking a table correction fixed:
- compare against the canonical page,
- check references or official standards,
- inspect nearby entries for the same error pattern,
- check units and dimensions,
- run build,
- update any figure, formula, or problem page that copied the table entry.
High-Risk Tables
Section titled “High-Risk Tables”The highest-risk tables are:
- Constants,
- Units,
- Spin Matrices,
- Commutators,
- Fourier Transforms,
- Clebsch–Gordan Coefficients,
- Quantum Gates.
